What information is shared?

Depending on the notification and what this connection supports, it can send the name, phone, service, date, time, and location. Choose the notifications you need and review the example before connecting real customers; it does not send a complete copy of your business.

Do I need Zapier or another account?

This connection does not require Zapier or Make. Use your Zendesk account and authorize the connection or copy the key or address provided by that tool. Its plans and possible charges still apply.

Who it is useful for

Businesses already using Zendesk that want to connect their customer service with that tool.

How information flows

For example: Escalate a request the assistant should not resolve. Record context for a pending conversation. Track the team’s follow-up.

Practical use cases

  • Escalate a request the assistant should not resolve.
  • Record context for a pending conversation.

What your Zendesk receives every time an appointment is booked

Your AI phone assistant answers the call, books the appointment in your calendar and sends it to Zendesk. You choose what we notify you about:

  • New appointment
  • Appointment moved
  • Appointment cancelled
  • Call ended
  • chat.handoff_creado
  • chat.handoff_respondido
  • contacto.bloqueado
  • contacto.desbloqueado

Depending on the notification and connection, it can include: Customer name · Phone · Service · Date and time · Branch · Notes · Table or space.

How to connect it

  1. 1Hire your assistant at atendalia.com.mx/signup and forward your business calls. Nothing to install.
  2. 2In your dashboard, open Integrations → Add and choose Zendesk.
  3. 3Domain = what goes before .zendesk.com. Email = your agent email. In Admin → Channels → API copy your API token.
  4. 4Hit Test: Zendesk receives a sample notification instantly, with the real look of every appointment.

Requirements and permissions

  • dominio — account domain
  • apiToken — API token
  • deCorreo — sender email

Relevant limits

  • Each delivery creates a ticket. This adapter does not sync ticket status or team replies.
  • Without a customer email, the requester may contain only a name.
  • Enable only useful events to avoid unnecessary follow-up tickets.
  • Only the events listed above are sent. The connection is one-way and does not import changes made directly in Zendesk.

What an appointment looks like when it arrives

This is how the alert reaches your Zendesk when the assistant books an appointment:

New appointment · Ana López

Haircut · Thursday, September 10, 5:00 p.m.
Downtown branch · +52 81 1234 5678
Booked over the phone

Note: first-time customer.

And the full appointment stays in your dashboard, even if you never open Zendesk.

How to verify and troubleshoot

  • Configure the subdomain, authorized user email, and API token.
  • Send a test and find a ticket matching the event service and customer.
  • Check the comment and requester. For authentication failures, verify the email associated with the token and its permissions.
  • Use “Test” in the dashboard and check the result in Zendesk before enabling real events.
  • If you see 401 or 403, review the token, its validity and the provider permissions.
  • If no data arrives, review the integration log and confirm that the event is enabled.
